Mercure Reims Centre Cathédrale

Nice reception and lobby, bar and restaurant. Staff very polite. Very convenient underground garage. There was quite wide choice for breakfast. We were allowed to leave our car in the garage a couple of hours after check out, which was very helpful. Good size room, AC, mini fridge to keep your drinks cool. Location perfect, walking distance to the centre (around 8 mins) and train station (18 mins).

Nicely decorated room. Nice to be welcomed with a smile even though we arrived late in the evening. I really like the Mercure hotels as they are usually of a high standard and better than most other 4 star hotels. The hotel was within a short walk to the cathedral and town Centre. Bed was comfortable and nice to have a couple of chocolates on the bed as a welcome. A variety of channels available in English.

Reims is a good choice for an overnight stay on the drive across France as it’s no distance at all off the motorway network. The hotel is well situated in the town for access to the restaurants and other interests. We particularly liked the breakfasts and the light, airy dining room. The underground car park with direct access to the hotel is highly desirable

The location was excellent the room was comfortable and the bed was large and very comfortable. Purchased a case of champagne from reception which had a number of champagnes on offer. Used the dining area with mixed results. The food was OK, presented in a nice way and the staff were very attentive. Overall would use this hotel again as staff very friendly, the room was hygienically clean plus a good nights sleep.

Easy to find and secure parking. We were delighted with the restaurant for dinner, having trailed around Reims to find most restaurants were closed for August, full, or had nothing for vegetarians. The Mercure restaurant offered a delicious omelette frites and we had an excellent meal.
